Installation Tutorial for Mineral Processing Equipment - Spiral Chute

1. Installation of the support and base (Key: Ensure levelness)
Use a crane to lift the support above the foundation, align it with the anchor bolts and lower it slowly. Loosely fasten the nuts but do not tighten them. Use a level to measure the levelness of the upper surface of the support in multiple directions (at least horizontally and vertically). Adjust the shims at the bottom of the support to keep the level error within 0.1mm/m. After confirmation, tighten the anchor bolts with a torque that meets the requirements of the equipment manual (generally 30-50N・m).
2. Assembly of the main body of the spiral chute (Key: Smooth connection)
If the spiral chute is in sections, install and connect them in sequence according to the numbers. First, fix the lower section of the spiral chute to the support, and then connect each subsequent section upwards. Ensure that the surfaces of adjacent sections are smooth during connection, with a gap no more than 2mm, avoiding misalignment or height differences. Secure the connection with bolts or welding (as per the equipment design requirements). After welding, remove the welding slag and check for any missed welds.
3. Installation of auxiliary components
Classifier: Install it above the feed opening of the spiral chute, ensuring that the outlet of the classifier is aligned with the center of the feed opening of the spiral chute to prevent feed deviation and uneven separation.
Receiving trough and discharge pipe: Install them at the bottom discharge end of the spiral chute. The receiving trough should be firmly fixed, and the slope of the discharge pipe should allow the pulp to flow out smoothly without accumulation.
Rinse water pipe: Fix it along the side or bottom of the spiral chute. The nozzle of the water pipe should be aimed at the areas prone to mineral accumulation on the chute surface to ensure a stable water pressure (generally 0.2-0.3MPa).
